MY PROFILE

About me and my therapy practice

I am a fully qualified supervisor with a Diploma in Supervision offering supervision to trainees and qualified counsellors as well as those working in the helping profession.

I work in an integrative manner, using the Person-centred approach to build trust and maintain a professional relationship. I work with supervisees to develop their practice alongside their personal development, working collaboratively.   I believe in working collaboratively and focusing on both your personal and professional development.

I use an integrative model to supervision that builds your autonomy by developing your potential. I offer a supportive environment to help you grow and develop your professional practice either as an individual therapist or workforce team.

Practice description

My role as a supervisor is to encourage supervisees to be aware of their internal processes, to monitor emotional responses and experiences within their work, I attempt to increase awareness of who the supervisee may be to the client. I encourage the supervisee to notice what they experience in the relationship and consider if this experience relates to their own unresolved conflicts.

I offer a safe, supportive, non-judgmental, nurturing space for my supervisee where they can be challenged without feeling threatened. I keep a healthy balance of guiding, exploring, nurturing, and raising awareness for my supervisee. I believe my supervisee should leave the session with clarity if needed, a light bulb moment, increased self-awareness, and self-reflection.

My first session

I can offer a free 10 -15 -minutes phone meeting for potential supervisees for us both to check whether we feel that we might be the right 'fit' as supervisor and supervisee. We then have our first supervisory session at which we contract to work with each other and agree when our working agreement is reviewed.

Depending on your needs I am happy to offer supervision in blocks of 1 hour, 1.5 hours as required.

£55/ hour of supervision  & £65 for 1.5 hours (Qualified Counsellors).

£45/ hour & £55/1.5 hours (trainees/students).
